About the Center

Mid-Missouri Area Health Education Center is part of a federal, state, and local network dedicated to improving the health of individuals and communities by transforming health care through education. Mid-MO serves as a catalyst for recruitment, retention, and local support of healthcare providers in the rural and medically underserved counties of central Missouri resulting in healthier, stronger communities. Mid-Missouri  AHEC provides services to 23 counties.
