AHEC provides accredited continuing professional education, digital medical library access, community preceptor workshops, and other services to health professionals in rural and underserved communities in order to reduce professional isolation.  During the last state fiscal year, over 2,100 health care personnel participated in 138 continuing professional and health education programs provided by MAHEC.  Recent topics included:
